The Federal Work Study (FWS) Program provides meaningful work experience for eligible students who demonstrate financial need. While earning money to help pay educational expenses, students are encouraged to find work related to their course of study or interest as well as community service work.
General information
You can work up to 20 hours per week. Note: the maximum number of hours will be determined by the supervisor.
All Federal Work Study positions are paid at $20 per hour.
All Federal Work Study employees must submit a weekly timesheet in Work Day.
You will receive a bi-weekly pay check for the hours worked during the corresponding pay period.
Federal Work Study is only available to currently enrolled and registered students at Saybrook.
Eligibility
Inte
rested students must first complete a
Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) form listing Saybrook University (code
G21206
) as a recipient.
Students must be enrolled at least half-time and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
The student must be a United States citizen or non-citizen national of the United States. International students are encouraged to apply for non-FWS jobs.
